Library
The Library at Evergreen Country Day School serves our students and faculty by providing materials to support the curriculum, satisfy students' interests and foster reading for enjoyment.
The library on the main campus houses about 6800 items and is adjacent to the Technology Lab where the Elementary and Middle School population have carefully controlled access to online information for academic research and study needs. Students in Kindergarten through Fourth Grade attend weekly library class where they are read to, learn library skills, check out books and read for pleasure. All students are welcome to settle in and enjoy a good book in the beautiful and comfortable library with its inviting view of the mountains .
The Early Childhood campus library has a small collection for the convenience of the Early Childhood Faculty. It supplements the main campus' extensive collection of literature for younger children and the classroom libraries. Once a week in Early Childhood, students come to the library where they hear a story, hone listening and pre-reading skills and enjoy books of their own choosing.
